Last day

Last day of the month that is, my favorite month is a day away, February is my favorite month because you get a lot of Candy on February 14th and in February 25 is my birthday, although I never do something really special is nice to receive call and messages. And I take the time to do a little birthday shopping, and talking about shopping I went shopping with my mom, and I had to wear something comfortable, and a maxi skirt is the most comfy piece of clothing, don’t you think so, this skirt it was my mom’s she have a matching top, but that for me is too much, maybe I wear it by itself. Maybe you relate to this next story, when I was little I loved wearing bigger clothes (well I still do) and I had this denim jacket since little and I thought I was so cool on it, then I buy another denim jacket that was more tailored and nicer so I put this is the I will never wear it again section in my mind, but I rediscovered it and now in my 20’s it fits perfectly, and I love it. Today was a beautiful day

Hola, well today was a great day, not like last week , i was sick got a cold, not nice and going to work sick, it’s even worse, you know watery eyes, and look at the computer all day it look like I was depress , terrible, but I’m better now and today was a great day like I say, for 2 years that I’ve been with my boyfriend I want to watch “The Notebook” with him, I mean that it’s the movie that has a lot of my favorite thing, great places, amazing photography, gorgeous clothes, Ryan Gosling, can’t get better, plus the story is so beautiful, and finally I watch it with my boyfriend and he love it, it was so funny both holding the tears, saying Awwww all the time, love it!! and if you also love this movie you would love to do this with the love of your live click here ¿What do you think)

I totally would love to live in that time the clothes are amazing so vintage so beautiful, and talking about vintage, this is the look of mom, she still wears this look, and look beautiful, so this is my take on her look, I would love to post some photos of my mom but she doesn’t like that idea of being in the internet ( I have to respect that).

Let's get in shape

Look what is in my bookshelf, “Jane Fonda's workout book from 1981”, Don’t you this kind of books?(I know books aren't the it thing for workingout anymore DVD's are but i still like them) You read, do the workout, look at the photos, sweat a lot, feel great and the next morning you think you look like a super model. I know I do.

Dinner time

First day of the week, and my challenge on posting a daily random photo is harder than I thought, in the morning I take my camera with me but I didn’t put the SD card so no photos during the day, but at night when my boyfriend peek me from work I realized that I have an extra SD card on my camera case, hate when things like this happened….

So tonight we went to this new restaurant that opened like a month ago, it was good, didn’t like it as much as other places we have been, but one thing I love the dessert, so good. Have a lovely week.

30 years ago

Hi, so this week I found a piece that is very special for my mom, it’s a dress that was my grandmother, and she never wear it, she just have it in her closet, so when she look at me wearing she got all happy that I pick that specific dress, and why not the detail on the front is beautiful, and the pattern is almost want to be spring but not there yet, so this dress is like a family precious piece even my aunt told me that this was one of her favorite everyday dresses.

Something its going on with mother nature she really want me to keep my cozy clothes out, I’m used to 95°F , that normal weather here and when it is 60 °F, it’s enough cold for me, but no not today we are 41°F that is crazy.

In other things, I'm going to do a little challenge for me this week and will make a photo of the day post from monday until friday, hopefully this will work.

Isn't she Lovely

Hi, so I want to thanks to all of you that decided that my blog has something interesting and click on the follow button, I really appreciate it, and we are already 100 so thanks a lot, and to even make this more special I want to thank the first girl I meet trough blogging she was the second person to follow my blog as I already said in my shout outs of 2010, she is like my blog sister and probably we are not in contact a lot but just reading her blog and knowing about her style, the books that she read, her friends make me feel that.

Surprise

Hi, hope you are doing more than ok, the past week I saw this door when I was walking with my amazing mother, drinking coffee on our way home, I saw it and love it, the visual effect that the lines make is fantastic or at least I think so, but when tried to take some photos here, a truck was always parked in front, and that is not a good thing, so i have to wait one week to finally take this photo.

This week fashion pic was also inspired by a little piece that came into mail , 2 weeks ago my first redeem item on Chictopia, I never redeem things just because I never think the items will come to my house i just think they are going to get lost, I just join Chictopia for the fun of uploading fashion pics, and look at other girls doing the same as I do, but then it came a day when I saw the gold knuckleduster by Crossroads Trading at the reward section and decide to redeem this item, and I’m very happy I did it because I love it.

Excuse my pale, boney hands.

Dreams

Hi so this week fashion pic was just about my coat and my boyfriend turn it into a movie costume,here is the story, Yesterday he pick me up at 2:30pm for our weekly photoshot ,in the moment he saw me when i walk outside my room he said –You look like a Character of Dreams from Akira Kurosawa- not the reaction you expect right, but i guess for him it was a compliment, its his favorite movie, have you seen it, this film has the most beautiful photography ever, very inspiring, and know that I see this photo, I totally see what he saw in that moment, With my mom’s coat with suede and crystal detail, I felt so pretty, and elegant and a little wild at the same time and ad some blue and purple on the thights and shoes, i know i'm a really wild, I don´t usually mix colors like this but, it’s a New Year so time to try new things.

The belt Im wearing is a silver belt, made of real silver and its so heavy and you guess it right, it is my mom's , plus I want to make my waist show in this coat and not look like sponge bob, you know less like a box more like a girl.
