Lady in blue

Well today was a really good day breakfast with mom, a little gossip, lunch with boyfriend and right now Oscar’s time, if you are like me Red carpets are like the most fun thing to watch, hair, makeup, jewelry, and obviously amazing dresses and suits, and love to see the actually award ceremony to see if the movies that I love win or see what movies I have to watch, so I’m having a great time so far with the red carpet. So this week’s look have nothing to do with the Oscars but is my take on dressing up is for every day and I like to do it sometimes, and when I find a blue dress in my mom’s closet, I just have to wear it, and if its blue, please sign me on, I love this one, I feel so elegant with the shoulder pads, that is my elegant secret!.

Almost there

Well I want to tell you a story behind this photos, my boyfriend as you know is an Orchestra conductor, he plays many instrument so sometimes he goes out of town to play with different local bands, he just does it just for fun, so last week about Thursday he told me that he was going to play In another state but he was going out just for Saturday and come back on Sunday on time for taking my photos (Yes he is a musician, that now loves to take photos). Sunday came and usually we take photos at 4:30pm because the light is perfect at that time, at 3:30 he sends me a message telling me that he wasn’t going to arrive on time, so I start thinking on doing it by myself, just like I used to do it when I start on this blog world or just not post an outfit this week, 5:00pm my boyfriend call telling me that he was on town asking me if we could make it work with the sunset light, I was already dress so I thought why not.

And I like them, the dress I’m wearing is a Levi’s dress that my mom got for me on Christmas, and I decide to wear it because it wasn’t as cold as other days, the weather was lovely, but as soon as I step out the door, cold wind start to blow in my face, thankfully I was wearing tights.

One of my first posts was on how to do a bow for wearing it like a headband but I just put a safety pin behind and I use it as a bow tie, If you are interested to know how to do it click here.

Love to love

Well days like this are the perfect excuse to say one more time I love you to the people that surround you, all year around, and give a little detail, some people hate this day or love this day I just take it as a day that you have the chance to give a little love, it doesn’t matter if you don’t give a present, just a hug could do the trick.

Also is the day that girls wear red or pink clothes, it’s something that you don’t think you just do, and that is what I did, I just love this pink blouse is so feminine in a very conservative way, and to add a little more lady details I put this DIY tie that I made with a button that I bought for very cheap, and I just love how It looks, as always I have to wear something from my mom’s closet and this week are the pants.

Hope you had a beautiful Valentine’s day with your love ones, I totally have a lovely night, my amazing boyfriend surprised me with a dinner at his house, and he cook for me, so it’s more special he make sushi, and it was really good, and I did the dessert some chocolate truffles,here is a photo.

Fun Valentines fact, I don’t like receiving flowers, you got them and then you wait for them to die and I just don’t like that, so my boyfriend gave me this time a plant of chili’s, how romantic.

Finally I know what I’m going to give to my boyfriend, and I admit that I take the idea from the lovely Michelle from Her catwalk, I’m going to cook for him, but I’m going for my favorite part of a dinner the Dessert, easy and delicious. I just dont know

More great finds from my mom’s closet, beautiful teal coat that is so warm and comfy to wear, this days in my town was freezing, in the news said that this kind of weather hasn’t been like this in 50 years, but is a great excuse to wear coats, scarves, and tons of layers, I know, I don’t have the best posture so shoulder pads, are my best friend, and this coat has big ones, love it, then pair this with great knee high boots that are actually my first pair, and my lovely sister gave them to me, like I said I’ve never own this kind of boots, but I guess I have a new love, so comfortable to wear.

Now I have a dilemma I don’t know what to give to my boyfriend for Valentine’s day, he already told me, he don’t wan’t anything, but that’s more pressure for me, Any Ideas, please?
