So, I guess you are wondering where my Monday fashion post is right. Well the story begins when my rechargeable batteries where kind of failing on me for the last 2 weeks but noting that a turn off, turn on couldn’t fix, and then this weekend was the last time my batteries help me out, they decide to just die after taking the first photo.
This is the lesson of the week “After the first sign of battery failure go and buy new batteries”, so girls and boys hope this is a lesson could help you in the future, don’t think those batteries are going to last forever.
Today shoes are incredible, color, shapes, materials, no limits on what designer put on their creations, but I have to say that not everyone was born to use some statement shoes, maybe look at them but not to wear them, so when you look shoes that are simple on the look, but have something special on the heel, you find them even more special, like this Jason Wu shoes, that have a beautiful heel detail, What do you think, love them or just like them?
So I noticed that I don’t show my legs in a lot of post or my daily life, and it’s not that I don’t like it , it’s just that I’m not used to it, since I was little I love to wear either long skirts or pants, that is my thing , the most short skirt I used was my cheerleader uniform and that was it, but today I decided to wear this skirt that I just bought yesterday at a friend boutique, and because I feel almost naked showing skin above my knees , my secret is skin color thighs, feel good and look like nothing ( buy the matte onesnot the satin ones ), just a little tip to start the week.

I found this shirt in my mom’s closet, and I immediately thought in snow, the white dots against the soft gray totally sold this shirt, and was the perfect excuse to wear my favorite color combination, black and gray.
And for this look I got back into all vintage finding these adorable vintage shoes that my aunt never used and bought a long time ago, inspired me to match my accessories to this beautiful pair, and even use the color of my hair as an accessory, black shoes, black hair, black beaded bag and why not a black tie that was actually a headband that I made a year ago for one of my first post (Link here).
Betsey Johnson was the very first designer I knew, true story; I remember I came across with one of her whimsical dresses and immediately wanted to know about who created that dress, since then I've being admiring Betsey as a designer and as a person.
The past week I had an interview with pocketchange.become.com and they asked me if I had the choice of any designer in the world to work with, which would I pick, and Betsey was one of my choices, just imagine how much she has to share, and the freedom behind her creative view on fashion, this question really inspired me so I had to do an illustrated post about her, if you want to read the interview click here.
It's amazing how time flies, first I was happy to finally wear bright, flowy clothes and now I’m excited to wear my beloved tights, and start layering.
Today I really was in the mood to wear my loved vintage clothes, thanks to my mom that saved all her clothes I can start looking at her closet and find great pieces that inspire me, and this dress totally did.
Quick post for today, I came across the photos for Miu Miu Resort 2012 Collection Lookbook and absolutely loved them all, the chunky jewelry and the young lady feel of the clothes are fantastic, and the pieces that stole my heart were the blazers. What do you think, would you wear this?
